Sculptures
I currently produce art through the medium of oil-on-board or canvas . My work is predominately self portraits, documenting the emotions of lived experience.
My interest in art developed at school, further and higher education, achieving formal qualifications: an O-level and A-level in art, a Foundation course in Art and Design, and a BA Hons in 3D Design at Newham Community College and Middlesex Polytechnic.
After graduating, circumstances prevented me from carrying my art over into professional practice. To compensate, I pursued part-time and short courses with Adult Education, i.e City and Guilds in Ceramics. I also pursued life drawing locally, as well as successfully completing a figurative oil painting course at Central St Martins.
