Nicola Heather

I am a watercolour and coloured pencil pet portrait and wildlife animal artist based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. I love drawing animals and especially pets. It's so special to be able to bring a portrait to life and the look of really feeling like you could touch the fur and sink your fingers into it. For pet portraits I mostly draw on Drafting film using lightfast coloured pencils. As long as I get a really good photo I can reproduce your pet to hang on your wall and treasure for years to come. I’ve got MS (diagnosed 11 years ago) and am now medically retired and started painting again for my mental health and to meet new people who are like minded and love art like me. I have no formal training. I hope you love my style.
