I always loved Art at High School where I was fortunate to be chosen to attend Hornsey Art College part time. Circumstances & my creative skills led me into a career teaching Hairdressing & Beauty Therapy at various colleges.
During Lockdown my husband built me a Log Cabin to use as an Art Studio. Since also retiring I have been able to develop & combine my passion for Art & Animals.
I love doing commissions of pet portraits & find them very rewarding. I try to bring photos of beloved pets to life by enhancing their eyes to capture their character & expressions. I believe that an animal's eyes are the pathway to their soul.
I have only exhibited once before & was delighted with the results.
