Bety Boo
Being an amateur photographer, I have a great passion for flowers. The hours I spend with my camera are a form of soul therapy. The time pauses while I shoot. The flowers are not only comforting to the soul, but also perfect in photo modelling. Each flower speaks to me in a unique language and radiates its own light. We establish a spiritual connection during the shooting process. If there is no connection between the model and the photographer, the image is only a snapshot.
I've fallen in love with textures lately and have been experimenting with them a lot as they give different perspectives and feelings to an image. In addition, I create my own textures by using digital painting.I am delighted by the abundance of flowers in Hertfordshire where I reside.
Hitchin Art Hub and print on demand platforms like Art Pal and Printler are where I currently display my prints for sale. Also my work can be seen on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bety_b00/.
My aim is to communicate the beauty of a flower, which is often overlooked in its short life, while we are too focused on surviving in our material world.
