Testing & treatments for coronavirus
Many of us with MS have been sent PCR test kits so that we can test when we have symptoms of coronavirus, and get access to treatment.
New guidance says that we should now use lateral flow tests, that will be sent to us by 12 April.
Or we can order tests online via the GOV.UK website.
If we register a positive test we will be contacted about treatment options.
Please note: Tests purchased from a chemist will not be tracked by the Government so you will not be phoned in that case. Please use the tests that are delivered to you.
1. You should keep lateral flow tests at home.
2. You should take a test if you have coronavirus symptoms.
Important: You must report your test result.
3. If you test positive, the NHS will contact you about treatments.
