You may continue to attend your appointments unless we tell you otherwise. We are offering essential health treatments in a COVID-secure environment.
It is up to you whether you feel comfortable attending the Centre or not. Please be aware of the renewed shielding advice.
Tell us if you aren’t coming
Please call to let us know in plenty of time if you do not wish to keep your appointment, as somebody else could make good use of it.
For the safety of others
Please do not come to the Centre if you are at all unwell, or you or someone in your household has recently had symptoms or a positive test.
If you find out after you have visited the Centre that you, or someone in your household, has symptoms or a positive test, please notify us.
If you have been tested and are negative, we will ask you to send us a copy of the notification email before you may return to the Centre.
Protection for every visitor and our team
Masks, temperature checks, sanitising and social distancing are adhered to throughout the building, along with extra cleaning. Therapists will be wearing full PPE.
No complementary therapies for the time being
We are sorry that we are unable to provide complementary therapies as the therapists are not permitted to work under the new rules.

Procedures at the MS Therapy Centre
Please see below to see all of the changes we have put in place for you to have therapies. Due to the cold weather, physio/gym attendees should now enter by the main door. Please observe social distancing.
Therapy guidelines
To ensure the safety of visitors and staff we have carried out a risk assessment, introduced a number of safety measures and are following the latest government guidelines to ensure we are a COVID secure facility.

You can only visit the Centre if you have made an appointment before you arrive
You should have been contacted to discuss when it is safe to return to the Centre. If not, then please phone 01234 325781, or email [email protected]

Call
Please call us if you unsure about anything to do with our reopening. Call 01234 325781 during office hours.

Do not come to the Centre if you are not feeling well
If you are not feeling well, have a temperate or any signs of COVID-19 please do not come to the Centre and please call us to cancel your appointment.

Car parking guidelines
Please ensure you leave 2 clear spaces between cars in the car park.


Checking your temperature
We\’ll be checking everyone\’s temperature, with an infrared thermometer (no contact), before entry to the Centre.

Wear a mask
You (and anyone from your household who is accompanying you) will need to wear a mask when arriving at the Centre. Staff will be wearing masks and/or visors.

Social distancing
Social distancing will be strictly observed and the building facilities have been rearranged to help ensure that everyone can keep at a safe distance.

Use the hand sanitisers
Hand sanitiser stations will be at key areas in the Centre and you will be required to use them frequently.


Food and drink
No food or drink will be provided at the Centre, so please bring your own.

Toilets
Toilets will be available and cleaned regularly.

Oxygen users
Your appointment is subject to us having received your consent form from yourself and your GP and to you having your own oxygen mask to wear. If needed please contact Tracy to order a mask in good time – they are taking at least 10 days to arrive.

Use the correct entrance for your therapy
Access to the Centre is restricted depending on which therapy appointment you have.
Each therapy will have a separate entrance/exit which will be signposted for you.
Come to the specific entrance for your therapy (see below) and you will be admitted by your therapist/operator:

Oxygen: The door to the oxygen room in the car park

APS and Physiotherapy: Main entrance

Hydrotherapy: Use the outside door to the hydro pool (see video below)
Oxygen entrance
Use the side door entrance to the oxygen therapy area.
Physiotherapy and APS entrance
Use the main Centre entrance for Physiotherapy and APS.
Hydrotherapy entrance
Watch the video to see the route around the building for the hydropool entrance. Do not follow the second part of the video – go straight to the pool door.
