Our online, Zoom AGM saw many friendly faces
The MS Therapy Centre’s AGM was held online, by video meeting service Zoom, on Tuesday this week.
It was lovely to see so many people at the AGM, the Zoom room was full of friendly faces including staff, volunteers and our Patrons HM Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Helen Nellis and Clifton Ibbett OBE.
Both patrons expressed their admiration for the work that the MS Therapy Centre has continued to do during the period of the pandemic.
Attendees asked plenty of questions which included whether the number of new people accessing the Therapy Centre was as high as it could be (53 in 2019), and ideas were discussed to make sure that all people who have MS know about the Therapy Centre. Helen Nellis asked what learning we would take forward from this time.
It was agreed that some of the online solutions could be very helpful to people living further afield and to those with severe mobility problems.
